I bought this a few months ago with some LPs and zoas already in it. I have made changes like took out the lps and put them in my 180 then took some of my zoas from the 180 and put them in here. I added a tunze nano osmolator because the evap on this thing was crazy. I am going to make a few more changes in the couple of days like add about a 1/2 sand bed and remove the large rock and add the piece that I epoxied together, its sitting in the sump of the 180 for right now. I used rock that was already in my sump so there will be absolutely no cycle and I am going to take the sand to scripps and rinse with salt water after I do a really good rinse at home. Here are some pics from today

I love this little tank.... I brought him over a little present and thought he was going to put it in the 180 beast ( cleanest tank I have seen to date) that is in his living room and says no it's going in his other tank.... He walked me into the back room and there was the smallest reef I have ever seen.... Sweet little set up, was contemplating on getting one after i saw it... Lol

I've never seen a shallow tank like this. I really like it. So Zoas need to be close to the light?

No, they don't need to be that close to the light. I have found with some the color does get more vibrant the more light they get but then others can close up, you never know how they are going to react.

That tank is really neat, is that something custom or is that something that can be bought somewhere?
