Excited to upgrade from my lifegard 10 gallon AIO to this UNS R60 (32.5gal display and 13gal sump). I scored a good deal on It from the reefapalooza show in September.

Tank fit too perfectly into this Nook in the living room, i had to get it. I have been slowly piecing this together. I added water and I moved a few pieces of live rock i had from my 10 gallon into the sump to try and kick start the cycle. (using Red Sea Blue bucket)

I was looking for more rock at my LFS for my scape and they didn't have a lot but then he goes in the back and pull out this piece and I had him attach it to a base for me to support the top.
Added sand and rock to the tank

With some help from Vivid Creative Aquatics i ordered two 1/2" Random Flow Generators. Unfortunately I was having issues with the stock return nozzle ball joint to attach to some locline. It was about 1mm too large, so i took some sand paper to it until the locline fit perfectly so I could use the RFG as I intended.

After about a month delay i finally received my Radeon g6 xr15, I also got a 3d printed hood to keep the glare down when sitting on the couch. I would say it was worth the wait. It gave my tank time to cycle a bit.

I purchased some Corals from SBB Corals on their live auction and moved over some of my corals from my 10 gallon.

Received my Inkbird (ITC-306A)

Currently i am waiting on more Bio media (MarinePure - Gallon Box - 1 1/2” Spheres Ceramic Biomedia) as I still need more Biological filtration.
I also have on order a Kraken Reef Custom lid, and BRS Mini Reactor - 5" Single with Sicce Syncra 1.5 Pump
I would also like to get a skimmer in the future but am not sure what would be an appropriate model (I would appreciate suggestions)

A few days ago I believe i fed to much and don't have enough Bio media and i now have a bacterial bloom. After some researching i purchased the Green Killing Machine UV to help aid in this bloom....:downcast-face-with-sweat:

Stocked:
-one (chocolate) clownfish
-5 red leg hermits
-5 Nassarius snails
-conch.

Equiment:
Return Pump- Sicce syncra sdc 6.0 (set at %85)
-(2x) VCA 1/2" Random Flow Generator
Light- Radion XR15 G6 PRO (with 3d printed shade)
Temp Controller- Inkbird ITC-306A

I am looking at this brand of tank, how do you like it? Any issues? hows the fit and finish? plumbing? is it noisy?

Thanks!
Love the tank, No issues so far. Tank has been great. The finish IMO is great, that's why I opted for this over the redsea. Plumbing is pretty quiet. We have it in our living room and it has a slight trickle that is almost inaudible, don't even notice it.

Awesome, thank you for the update. I purchased it on Monday, it looks like a better design than other systems

Nice rockwork! Do you have plans on adding upgrades to the filtration chambers?

I’m looking at this tank, love the aesthetic of it.
I’d think the small nyos skimmer would be a good one for this tank.
On your mounting arm did the overflow cover fit with the xr15 mount?
Thanks

New addition to the tank!

*Kraken reef lid* unfortunately it doesn't fit 100% with the cover for the overflow on, but not a big deal breaker, as I rarely have it on
&
*Pixie Hawkfish*
Looks to be happy and moving around well.

Very nice! Not sure how this tank is going but I’m considering the UNs tanks, looking at the AIOs but might consider the R60 as well, wish it came with a DC pump though. What size GKM did you use? I used one on my last aquarium many years ago and that thing cleaned up the tank nicely so I will likely have one on hand again.
