Got a jawbreaker several weeks ago, and within a week it detached (probably due to high flow or light?). Since then, I kept it inside of a container with small holes with low light... It yet to attach to anything. I've tried putting it under mesh on top of a rock, but no luck. Any ideas?

Detaching like that when new to a tank can be a bad sign but if it’s still alive it will prob be ok. They like to attach to clean rubble, if you have algae on it, it could take extra time to attach. First good sign it’s attaching is that it fully opens. Is that happening?

Put it in a cup made for shrooms which has a decent flow, but not too much so it doesn't blow away. And just leave it alone. I had a jawbreaker that took 6 months to attach. I had one that never did. Sometimes they are finicky. In my experience, rubber banding, adding weight, etc never worked, just have to give it the right condition and leave it alone.
