Jawbreakers and tye dyes moving

hello all,

New and curious if anyone has experience shrooms detaching from their rock and migrating.

I've had 1 jawbreaker and 4 tye dyes (sp?) and a few other misc mushrooms breaking off and just going with the current. They are pretty much lost amongst the rocks. I actually can see one but def can't reach it.
Oh well...

Are they going to die or died?

Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks in advance. Love this forum.

I have had one move around on a rock and a couple detach...most detach due to an abundance of flow, they hate a lot of flow

I had a couple do this ended fine just in a different location one was under a rock didn't know it was even there till I moved the rock.

My jawbreaker got sucked up my MP10 and was shredded into pieces when I went away on vacation. If you see it, pull it out to save it if it's stuck in an area with no light.

To.much flow.the most.likely culprit. Theye can handle a pretty decent amount of light compared to alot of my other high end shrooms but the do prefer the lower light. High flow will always cause them to vacate the area

It takes a real lott to kill a mushroom , its fine were it is leave it alone untill it attaches then place it in low flow

I wanted to know if an adult Jawbreaker placed in an area of high flow, will that give it a better chance of dropping babies as it tries to find a spot with much slower flow?

I don't think it'll leave a baby. I think it'll just peel off and drift away.
