Jayzar's First Wonder

So in august 2008 i rented a hobbyist booth at reefapalooza. I made some frags of my favorite favia, Jayzar's First Wonder, and was selling them for 20 bucks a frag (4-5 eyes). As the first day past....no biters...so on sunday i dropped everything to 5 bucks a fragment. Super cool deal right? Nobody bit either. I was pretty bummed. Anyways here is the colony when i first got it

then after 2 months i got these colors

Well i made 5 frags for the swap and sold zero. I gave one to a good friend of mine and one to greg carroll. I just got an update from my good friend and from the 5 eye frag i gave him last year this is what it looks like now

I dont know how gregs is doing and I think he did mention he lost it.

My colony has lost some color since the tank move, but i didnt lose it. I just cant wait for mine to get back its colors like lowbudgets. definitely a piece worth having.


I bet now the guys who passed up on a 5 dollar frag are gonna ask me for one now.

I'm game for one!!! LOL makes me think of the convo I had with one of my local store owners that stuff on here sells for SOOO much more than any retail store could ever get for it...we both laugh at it!

haha...Sorry guys i am not just selling just wanted to post my development of the coral and how frags i have given away have faired. I have a few more pictures my other friends will upload.

I have to tell you not selling one for 5 bucks was crazy to me....Now...ill probably wont have frags for awhile. (i hate cutting my favias now).

jay. i got a favia from that event last year and man it is really looking nice. a different style of yours but i am still stoked about it. nice to always see updates about corals and there progress.
