  • Hey guys, just purchased a JBJ 30 and was wondering what some good lighting options would be. Planning on doing a mixed reef with clowns an RBTA no 100% sure on the corals yet. TIA!

Most all lighting will work, the question is are you ok driving a pinto or do you want a Porsche. You can even mod lights to your liking or make something entirely new! I feel the best bang for buck lights right now are the reefbreeders photon V2+. But radions, ai hydras, and kessils are all great options

Found someone locally selling a kessil A360WE for 250, would this be wroth the purchase or would be better to go with the 360x?
Depends on your budget. The X is a slightly better light and you get a warranty if you get it new.
