Hi guys, I have just started a new tank and looking for ideas. The tank is bare bottom and I have added quite a few acanthophyllia. The flow from the return pumps even at lowest setting seems to be too much, I’m assuming due to the shallow depth of the tank. Has anyone run into this issue and if so what’s been done? The tissue of the acanthophyllia are getting quite a bit of movement, although not sure it’s too much to cause harm.
 
Do you have a video of what the flow looks like?
 
Perhaps try a RFG/random flow generator, or change the direction of flow to be more surface directed. The gph of the stock return pump is 264.

Thanks, I did think of completely removing the nozzles as well.
