JbJ 8G Rimless packed with coral

Hey looking for a little advice on nano tanks,i have a JBJ 8G and its been running for about 4 months now..looking to getting a protein skimmer for it and was wondering what is the best one for the 8g rimless? And if u would run it 6-8 hours or 24/7? Thanks alot
