Can anyone give me some insight on whether a jbj aquarium is a decent aquarium or would you go with a red sea-Max Aquarium

JBJ aquariums are good. I have had 3 without issue. RedSea Aquariums are popular but I have never liked the look. What size tank are you looking at?

I have never heard of issues with JBJ aquariums. People seem to run into issues with the seams on Red Sea aquariums

I had a jbj aio cube several years ago. I had no complaints. I gave it to my son n law when I upgraded to a reefer 170 with sump. The 170 is a gen 1 and has a seam failing in an upper corner. I also have a reefer 300 g2 but don't think I'll be adding any more redsea tanks. The 170 is a gen1 and I've moved it without draining so I'm not blaming redsea but I still think they used crap silicone but that's JMO
