Looking to possibly buy a JBJ 30G Rimless tank.

It doesn't come with lighting... Can you guys link me to some good lights for this tank? Nothing over $150 if possible.

Also, for this tank, besides the lighting, there really isn't any other equipment I would need to buy right? Being an all-in-one tank. I don't think there is but let me know if there is!

I have a stand that will work for this.

Let me know all you can about the tank!

:)

You asked so here we go.

IMO it's a great tank. I upgraded the stock pumps to a cobalt, 295 gph, see link below
http://www.marinedepot.com/Cobalt_A...rheads-Cobalt_Aquatics-3C00057-FIPHFF-vi.html

Ran a Tunze 9001 skimmer.
Tunze ATO in 5 gallon tank with kalk.
Hydra 52 for lighting.

Right now I am working on a JBJ 45 gallon, an upgrade.

The light you said cost $600 lol -.-

There are many options available to you.

You can run it with a 24 inch 4 bulb ATI and a ton of other lighting fixtures.

What direction do you want the tank to go in? Reefbreeders offers some good LED fixtures for a decent price.

My JBJ 30 was not a state of the art tank by today standards. You wanted an example and I gave you mine.

If you want a softy tank then lighting options are different, want a mixed reef????

I'm planning on getting rock, soft corals and fish. Don't think I need the highest end light for this.

I have the jbj 45 . I run everything stock on it right now . I have the aquamaxx hob1 skimmer . I use the Dsuny lights off ebay . There is a ton of led fixtures just find the width of the tank and start there . You don't have to have 10k to have a decent tank .

I tried to find your budget but you have 5 threads asking pretty much the same thing and I can't keep up.
Maybe try craiglist or offerup, I see tanks in the local section of those all the time for South Florida.

I'm using a Ocean Revive T-247b on my jbj 30. When I was shopping around for a light.. for under $200 your options are small (outside of the ocean revive or a chinese box) if you want good coverage. If I were to purchase again I really like the Prime HD but it's $300.

Here's a pic of my tank..

As far as the stand I hated the OEM stand. It looked cheap. Checkout my thread and see what I did.

Helen, sorry for bugging you. I am still learning little by little and think I've found the right tank. Now lighting is all I need and I need to find the best deal I can. Thanks for the help

Not bugging, just starting multiple threads makes it harder to help you.
