I ordered a custom peninsula from CDA 72"x36"x27" back in June of 2021. Before I got my tank I built my sump, skimmer and mixing station. I'm kind of a DIY guy as you'll see from the photos.
I still had to work on a few things in the house. Mainly removing this ridiculous awning that was above the front door.
Then I received the tank in early November 2021. I built the stand and rock work and put everything together.
I had to wait a while for the lights, so I made a rack and hoped I could make a cantilever without any additional support. This didn't work.
So the light rack flexed a little and I added supports on the end.
I didn't like the exposed canopy so I covered everything and added a guy wire for support. I really wish I knew I would have needed the wire in the beginning, then I wouldnt have needed to weld the huge plate on the end of the frame, which you can still see and is totally unnecessary now. Well anyways here is the final version. Just waiting on 4 tunze 6255 wavemakers and I'll be done.
