I recently purchased a Jebao Doser 3.4. It was a good price and got good reviews. It seems well-built and fairly easy to set up. I do have a couple of questions

1. What is meant by "Day interval" in the automatic program setup? I saw in one video on YouTube that setting it to 0 means that it will dose at the programmed time every day. That seems a bit counterintuitive. Is that correct?

2. One YouTuber said that he is using it for an automatic water change system, but he didn't give much detail. Has anyone done this? If so, do you have any tips on how to go about it?

Thank you in advance.

“Day Interval = 0” does mean the program repeats every day. Apparently that’s a standard in coding. Who knew???

Don’t use mine for water changes, but have thought about it. Seems fairly simple - set up one head to remove the amount of display water that you want, and then after that’s done have another head replenish from a pre mixed salt reservoir. Potential issues that I see - I would have to set a timer on my ATO to match the water change cycle so that it doesn’t try to compensate for the removed volume; the salt reservoir would need to be full, and probably stirred so that it doesn’t settle out; potential clogging of either line. Probably a few others that I haven’t thought of. There are probably some threads on R2R about this…
