I bought a smart jebao powerhead just to upgrade to wifi, and I went with the 120 for a 4ft, but it is way way too strong even at minimum.

I waited too long to set it up and I don't think I can return it... so what I would like to do, is hook my old one up to the new controller, and put this overpowered on, on my old controller and demote it to mixing.

Anyone know if there is an issue with this? I cannot find specs as to whether or not the controller will cause issues for a pump that is the next size down. It does power it in a quick bucket test, but wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something harmful.
