Hi all!

This is a thread to document the progress of my 93 gallon cube. I hope this posting is encouraging for anyone looking into starting up a 93 cube, an excellent size in my option.

This represents my first foray into reefing, I bought the whole set up and all the animals (w/o sps) for only $1100. Then I added the mp40s and swapped a kessil for 2x ocean revives.

Gear:

Aquarium
| Marineland 93-Gallon Cube (30" x 30" x 24")
Sump | Acryllic, 20 gallon full of chaeto
Lighting | 2x Ocean revive t247
Skimmer | AquaEuro not sure of model #???
Flow | 2 x MP40
Dosing | Just kalk on the ATO and RSCP salt water changes weekly
Control | Apex Jr. with PM1, energybar 8
Fish | 1x Foxface, 2x blue tang, 1x black nemo, 1x chromis
Inverts | 1x coral banded shrimp, 1x decorator crab, 1x peppermint shrimp, 100x hermit crabs, 2x nassurius snails, 1x scutus antipodes, 6x rose bubble tip anemones etc
Coral | GSP, kenya tree coral, waving hand coral, california tort, aussie highlighter (bleaching :'( ), wild strawberry fields, rainbow tabling acro

I'm looking for a nice used Geo CA rx setup right now, to maintain the parameters a little better. I've been surprised how far I've gotten with kalk.

Ocean revives are incredible, really cheap and while they lack the control of more expensive fixtures have given me great growth. I'm at CH1:40/CH2:30 moving up in intensity.

looks great! have you had any issues with bubbles in the seams? I love the look of these tanks and am thinking about upgrading to one soon, but almost everyone I have talked to has warned of the seams being bad.

I had two with bad seems. I would get a custom built or go with a 120 Gallon not Marineland

Honestly, that's just what the guy told me about the tank, but it has no bubbles. DSmith had a good point, maybe go custom.
