I just saw a deal on this little guy that I couldn't pass up. I can't wait to get him/her in the reef. I have a magnetic epoxy frag rock on my back wall ready and waiting, with the perfect focal point location, par and flow. Cornbread Corals has the most beautiful frags.

Very nice! I also got myself one today as a Christmas gift to myself, I just put it in my tank 2 hours ago. This is mine:

I’ve had my jelly bean chalice for about a month or 2 now and it’s doing great and is getting bigger. Can’t wait to see it grown out. I hate that I can only find pictures of frags or small colonies instead of a large ones.

Colonies are similar but less green/oranges because the edges are spread out. The red can outgrow the blue as well. Here is a crappy shot of a jellybean and sc dynamite

Does it stay the same pattern and just extend or do you see the pattern change as it gets bigger?

Very jealous on all you guys!! May just head out to the LFS tomorrow to treat myself with a nice piece now that you lot are pushing me!

Shame on all of you!

Be patient. I had a hard time justifying the cost myself. And look, today I stumbled upon my jelly bean at an amazing price. Or just go for it! Everyone deserves to treat themselves occasionally. The economy is strong, gas is cheap and it's the holiday season.

Mine :)
