For the last few months I have been keeping my parameters on the high side.
dKH 11-12, Ca 450-500, and Mg 1400-1500. Everything in the tank looked great and I was getting good growth so I wasn't worried about it. I decided I'm going to try to keep everything as close to natural seawater as possible. So for the last few days I've let my Ca and alk come down. I tested today and my parameters were - dKH 7.6, Ca 430, and Mg 1420. It will take a few weeks for my Mg to drop but everything else is looking good.

I went to the LFS today to look for another blackcap basslet and the store didn't have one but I did end up buying a female swallowtail angel. She's about 3" and very colorful. I'm still trying to decide which tank to put her in. I'll take some pics tomorrow and post them.
... hope when everything matured we can do some sps trade ..nice fish as well

Wow three months since the last update....The tank has been through a few changes. It's mostly SPS now with a few of my favorite zoa's/palys and lps.
