One of my friend gave me a little little nub he broke during a water change
Of the jf fox flame

In is reef the fox flame is red with yellow tip

The nub he broke was all yellow and in my reef it’s growing all yellow will he turn red one day lol

That looks nothing like a Foxflame. Maybe a red planet.
 
It will most likely change colors, depending on what it is. Takes time with a lot of them, especially when they have been messed with. Sounds like you have plenty of lighting.
 
fox flame polyps are neon green on new encrusting growth.. that coral has promise though regardless of name. have fun growing it
