I have a Splendid Pintail Fairy Wrasse arriving next week. I’ve been enjoying an open top on my 100g— I’ve stopped using my polycarbonate lid because my current fish (Hippo Tang, Foxface, Chromis, Clowns, Banggai, and Goby) show no interest in jumping. Will the wrasse be different?

Sometimes fish just decide to jump….even ones that never have before 😉

100%.

I’ve had a Naoko jump even though I had a mesh top.

It jumped into the overflow notch, down the pipe into the sock filter and out onto my carbon media rack.

And died
