My diatoms have reduced significantly over the past week so its likely the silicated have depleted, my nutrients are relatively low but ill still be adding pnsb to deal with fish and food waste before it becomes a problem

Just don't let the nitrates and phosphates drop to zero in a new system. That is a recipe for dinos to take over.
