Just changed the sand bed. Do I need to do water change too?

Tank is only a month old. I just scooped 90% of the sand out and replaced with Fiji Pink.

My question is, will this contaminate/damage the water parameters? Should I do wc? Fish seem fine. Water is clear now. Nitrite & ammonia 0. Nitrate 5ppm.

I would to be on the safe side however since your parameters are good it should be fine. The reason I would recommend doing a water change is because stirring up sand can release a lot of detritus etc into the water column
