I don't do 15 hour shifts, but I do have 10 day stretches...I just started my "dreaded 3 day weekend" then work for 10. I could have even grabbed the beeper for a couple of nights this weekend....pass. My plan is to soak in the river behind my house and not much else....too hot to do much of anything productive like mowing the lawn.

Although there has been a cold running through the office lately and I have a tickle in my throat...

Money is great. But you’ll never get that time back, at any price.

Sounds like you need to make a choice. Scale back your hobbies or scale back your work.

When hobbies add to your stress are they really hobbies anymore?

Thats very true, ive been scaling back some already. I had alot more tanks which ive been consolidating and/or taking down for that very same reason.

But being honest, i do like the chaos quite a bit lol

Don't tell the guy that mows my lawn. He was out there last week at 1pm when it was over 100 degrees. I really felt sorry for the roofers last week. They were on my roof from 6am to around 2pm, and it was well over 100 degrees. Just an observation, not trying to be mean, but I don't get how those guys work in that hot weather in long sleeve shirts with hoodies (all cotton not the stuff that evaporates quickly to keep you cool) and half of them are very overweight. I just don't see how they keep the weight on.

For the OP, I admire you. I took off Friday (for some reason my company went to unliimited vacation time and I've been taking advantage of it) with the sole purpose of doing tank maintenance. Here it is late Sunday evening and I haven't done anything.
