I just noticed this guy near the base of my leather coral. Anyone know what it is? Kinda looks like a sea cucumber but i haven’t bought one.
Please ignore the aptasia I’m working on it lol.

Do you have photos under white light? It is hard to tell from the photo provided

Agreed it’s hard to see. Aiptasia? Need way clear photo

Yeah white light would help. If it's brown and white tiger tail cucumbers are very common sand cleaners in commercial tanks

Left upper side of photo with tentacles is an aptasia.
😅 i couldn’t see that at first. This is embarrassing, I was guessing at what I thought was something dead center. I think they both could be aiptasia (If I’m not imagining things)

Where there is one there's more to come quickly. I'd remove the rock and move the coral to a different rock before they spread throughout the tank.

Update: I took this picture in white light today. over the past few months since my last post it has not really seemed to grow much or move much but it appears to have some sort of mouth on the top. I was not referring to the aphasia that’s a known problem I’ve been fighting lol.
