36x24x16 has a overflow down to the sump. DC pump below will eventually have a fuge.
Going to keep softies, gobies and blennies mostly.

Just added an ATO too, using a plastic cereal container as the reservoir
DATO-200p we shall see how it goes

Looking good today. Started my water testing and all is good. A few hours a day of lights and water change in a week. Slow but steady... Dang it's hard to go slow

Added a little life to get going on cycling. Numbers starting to level off. No more stuff for a bit.
QT tank is set and ready to go.
Fuge set up in my sump with some chaeto growing. Skimmer coming on next week.

Added some life to it slowly. Water params are normal still. 10% weekly water changes seem to help keep things steady.

Turned directions a bit and added some macro algae. I have never grown it before but the texture and color it adds I just had to try. We shall see if anything makes it. Going to have to be content with leaving it all alone now for a while.

Update. Got some new softies on the right from a local reefer and moved the scape around some. Added in some PJ Cardinals after a month in QT.

Thanks! I got it at a store in Phoenix area and simply because as I walked around looking at tons of tanks it was the first time a tank that size I could envision not needing a step stool to reach the gravel and stuff on the sand bed. Lol
I had other tanks in the past that were larger and deeper but this just felt right
