Just starting the adventure...

the harlequin shrimp we added cleaned out the asterina stars in pretty short order - now we have some chocolate chip stars living in the sump in various stages of amputation... he is quite the character and has been a good addition to the tank... sociable and all kinds of shrimp-sexay
 
yes, indeed, those are mangroves - two of the three rooted over a 60-90 day period, I believe... third one, being a little shorter, is still trying to get his toes dug in to the rubble...
 
I believe by the 90 day mark, the first two were more or less secure in the rubble we piled under them... we used small pieces of styro as floats for the mangroves when we first got them in (poked a hole in the middle, pushed mangrove shoot through) - kept them upright as well as making positioning a little more stable
 
your livestock variety looks fantastic,i love the frogspawn and zoa's also love the acanthastrea's
