I’m coming to the point where I need to dose to maintain alk (120g mixed reef, ~8 months old). My normal daytime ph is 8.2-8.3 but I don’t know how low it gets at night. Is this too high to dose kalk? Should I just go with 2 part? Today’s alk was 7.2, and I’d like to get to 8.5 dkh.

2 part should be just fine… I use the esv B-ionic 2 part. My alk is at 8.9, but I have to add more calcium so I dose with an additional Red Sea calcium once a day on top of the 2 part .

Either limewater (kalkwasser) or a two part will do fine in this situation. You hardly notice any pH effect at the low demand indicated (assuming the dose is properly spread out).
