I messed up.
I tried to kill an aptasia with kale paste and accidentally covered the nearby zoas not thinking it would harm them.
I woke up this morning and I am concerned I may have melted the zoas.

Any advice? Will they pull through or is this a sure way to kill zoas?

Thanks for the remind. I need to go pull a rock that has one of these on it. I have better luck treating out of the tank myself. My filefish has not helped either.

How do you treat them out of tank.
Cheers!
Lift out rocks with aptasia and liberally smoother the pest with dry calcium paste, or injection with any of the recommended products for aptasia removal. Wait a few minutes, rinse off the dead flesh and put the clean rock back.
