dont roast me. i plan on doing some cleaning today. i cant find any info on this happening to anyone but myself lol
so i know kalkwasser can build on pumps because they are warm and thats totally fine. im getting a build up everywhere because of splashing when its dosed into my sump.
i have my kalk dosed at the same height my ATO goes in not submerged several inches from the water surface. would it be ok to submerge my kalk dose line? my doser is a Kamoer X1 Pro i believe. it does 2300ml saturated kalk total split 24x per day.

again please dont roast lol

thanks for the reply! so what can i do to help reduce or even eliminate this?

Dose more slowly, mix in faster, use higher dilution, make sure that it doesn't splash onto walls, have higher sump throughput.

Submerging the line will likely make it clog faster.

putting the dosing line under water will probably help but May want to put a one way check valve in line in case of siphon, that may clog though. Idk. I used an aqua lifter pump and never had much issue like pictures so slower flow rate might be the ticket with no splashing.

I don’t think there is anything that would eliminate it completely besides using a Venturi injector in your return line, like the one some people using for dosing a kalk slurry.
