Kamoer ato one 2 malfunction

I've been using a kamoer ato one 2 for couple of years now. It started to malfunction recently. It has 2 optical sensors. When the water level in tank is less than the level sensor, the ato starts to pump the water. I can see that the water is flowing into the tank. But within few seconds, the pump stops and alarm starts blaring with the red indicator on the ato. The reservoir is full of water when this happens. I tried to clean the pump also. But still each time the power is turned on, this behaviour is repeating. The pump works for few seconds and then alarm starts to sound.

Any suggestions to troubleshoot would be great!!

Did you clean the sensors? My Kamoer ATO is 4 years old, its been perfect the whole time, the only issue is that occassionally coraline or algae grows on the sensor and it causes issue's. Otherwise I have no other idea's, good luck.

Ya i tried... I don't understand why it starts pumping water for few seconds and then stops ... I wonder if the motor is getting overloaded or something

Alarm sound explanation:

Call 0.1 second stop 0.1 second, red light flashing synchronously (high speed): submersible pump is not plugged or failure.

1. Check the submersible pump connection

2. If step 1 does not solve the problem, replace the submersible pump.

Call 0.5 sec stop 0.5 sec, red light flashing synchronously (fast): overflow alarm.

1. Check if the overflow sensor (S3) is installed correctly

2. Clean the optical probe and put it into the water, if it is still Fill water means the optical sensor is damaged.

Call 1 second stop 1 second, red light flashing synchronously (medium speed): timeout alarm.

1. Check the optical sensor for stains or foreign objects.

2. 2. Power off and restart.

I would assume that the alarm you’re getting is the first one - rapid 0.1sec on 0.1sec off?
