Kamoer FX STP dosing issues?

I just tried a 2 minute dose at 10ml a minute and it dosed nothing.

I then tried a 30ml 1 minute dose. I measured dosed amount from kalk stirrer outlet and it was 30ml exactly.

Start at your 30ml drip rate and turn down the pump speed 0.1 ml at a time until you get about 0.2 ml out of the kalk reactor and you have it set. Leave it run continuously 24/7 this is about 350ml per day.

Once I lower the pump speed down it will slowly quit flowing completely. Sounds like air leak right? But the only remaining possible leak location is the tube on pump rollers. Would kind of make sense why it can’t pull at low speeds.

You're saying 30ml doses 30ml but if you turn it to 29ml it doses nothing?

If it's pulling air you would see bubbles coming out of the supply tube in the bottom of the reactor.

When you shut it off does it siphon water back out of the kalkreactor and into your topoff container?

I do see a bubble rise every now and then inside reactor. Right at start. But it has to push the air out empty supply line.

If I start at 30ml until dripping. Then lower down to anything less than 5ml it stops flowing. At 5ml it’s still measuring 5ml dripped out in a minute.

No when I shut pump off feed line from doser to reactor stays full. Confirmed by unhooking lines at pump and then undoing tension spring and arm. Once undone it starts flowing like crazy.

Undo supply line at reservoir lower line down and nothing flows out. It’s definitely loosing water after shutting off on supply line. Why I was wondering if a check valve was needed but never had to use one on my other dosing pumps.

left the doser on through apex schedule and after work today heard it turn on. To my surprise it’s dripping out the kalk doser . It’s a little higher speed than I wanted but ok I’ll just take 1 or two doses off the schedule. Currently at 10ml a minute. Scared to touch it so I’ll just leave it for now.

Contacted coral vue about it as well to see what they thought. They said it’s designed to run continuously and not stop. So that might be part of the issue.

Maybe it just had to clear a ton of air from the lines? I ran a gallon through it and calibrated several times. Odd…I don’t know, but oh well it’s almost working perfectly.
