Hello everyone, I've started dosing recently. Tank is 8 months old and have been starting to get some LPS. My plan is to dose All for Reef, Neo nitro or some other nitrate source and possibly some Mag. I've been researching the heck out of dosing pumps and haven't seen much of a consensus other than the creme de la creme pumps. I stumbled onto this Kamoer M1-STP dosing pump on amazon. I believe it's more for their medical products but looking over the specs I can't see why it wouldn't work. To me for $100 it looks like a very high quality pump and looks very similar to the kamoer FX-STP pump which is marketed to reefers and prices in at $360. Has anyone used this pump for dosing or any of the kamoer medical grade pumps or see any reason why I can't use it ?
Thanks

the Jabaoe pumps are good and they are half of those. For all for reef make sure the end of your hose gets submerged in your sump water or it will clog the hose.

Unless you’re dosing something that has to be super precise, kamoer are great but not really necessary.

For nitrate, make your own and mix it in gallon jugs. You’ll save a lot of money. You can buy calcium nitrate. for example, on amazon.

I wouldn’t bother trying to save a bit of money for a cheaply made pump, hospitals use them and not jabaoe for a reason
