Kamoer pump not working

My new FX STP stopped pulling water over the past couple days. I replaced the tubing, but no joy. Any help please? Could the roller head be needing of replacement? Not clear how to know when the roller head goes bad...looking like it's working, but no water going thru the unit. Its 3 months old.and have been using 24/7 at 40ml per min since I got it. (using for calcium reactor)

Did you take it apart and clean it?

40 ml per minute for 3 months is almost non-stop dosing, I’m not sure if it was meant to do that. It might be worth it to get in touch with Kamoer. Good luck.

It is marketed as a continuous dosing pump (for continuous use). Outwardly it appears no different than when it was working, so I don't see how a video would help. It 'looks' like it's working...but it just doesn't push/pull liquid through

Clogged or loose lines....screw not tight enough on rollers?

line not clogged and screw tightened from all the way loose to all the way tight. no joy. pump spins as it should, but no flow. $300 piece of sh$t...went back to manifold.

Interesting. This pump is one I’m looking at for continuous use dosing. They have a pretty solid reputation it seems. Have you reached out to Coralvue?

Not trying to be difficult but it looks exactly like it did when it was working, so don't know what you'd be looking foe.

Connect the intake to the pump and put it in a bucket of rodi water. Run it and see if it drips out the other unconnected end. A video of the above would be a nice start

I did that. no joy. and that's why I can't figure out what's wrong. It doesn't look any different than when it was working.

If you really want a $200 equipment fixed, surely a small video is not too much effort?

Make sure if you are testing, that the intake tubing is saturated with water so you don't have to wait too long. I just suck on the water like a straw.

I run my FX-STP for over 2 years and no issue. Replaced the tubing on the spin wheel once ($7.95).

I see the issue.

You have the pump in storage mode.

You need to move that white plastic piece from the left of the black piece to the right by unscrewing the knob

I forgot to do that when I changed the tubing, but it still wasn't working after I corrected it. Turns out, it was a bad replacement tubing. 3 of the 5 tubes in my replacement bag had hole in them. Arg. thanks!
