So apparently the lfs was right and I’m overthinking . This is not a Spanish shawl and is in fact a Bubble gum worm sea slug or Hypselodoris apolegma. Feeding on sea sponge exclusively but only those from the euryspongia genus. I’m not sure pineapple sponge falls under this. I also have some pinkish purple growth on the rocks In the sump I figured was sponge. I’m hoping something in there can feed this guy! It seems like he’s munching on something cant tell what. Last resort I’m putting him on the decorator crab lolThat is an awesome but tricky creature! The thing with nudibranchs is that most have very specific diets and only eat certain things. If you can feed them that thing then they will thrive, but they typically won't adapt even when they get hungry. Good luck!
