Keeping the sand clean

I wanna know how to keep the sand clean...it's not dirty with fish poo, but with snail and crab poo...I wanna know how to keep the sand clean, it's sugar sand so it's hard to siphon cause it's gonna get sucked up...should I get some kind of cuc or conch to clean it?

Just before a WC, very gently stir the dirtiest areas then siphon. Nassarius Snails are great lil sand sifters too.
