So I deserve everyone a huge update post on the progress of the tank, so here it goes! Also, so that @bayarea_reef can stop nudging about making an update LOL.

So evidently after the loss, let me rephrase, total loss of all my coral and fish that was sitting in my holding tank while I set up the 200g, I took some time to decompress and think about the build again.

We finished the plumbing and cord management underneath the stand, inspiration from my friend @bayarea_reef:

Worked on the lighting bracket... was going to use the Ecotech RMS arms, but at 72" long it had too much sag:

Ended up scraping the entire Ecotech arm and with inspiration and guidance from @bayarea_reef and Deven from Reefdudes, I build an entire contract from extruded aluminum and attached it to the stand. It looks so much cleaner and honestly, more stable.

Now that we had all that figured out, it was time to add sand, rock, and fill this MFer.

Thank you for the new pictures.

Is the t-slot profile 2020? And how are you connecting the black tslot to the stand? Corner brackets and roll-in nuts?

The aquascape looks great in your tank! Glad to see you got fish in there!

I used 1515 - which is actually larger than 2020. 1515 is 1.5" or approximately 38mm while 2020 is 20mm.

I used some corner extruded aluminum brackets and attached it to the stand using the aluminum extrusion channels that are also on the APS tank stand.

I actually was going to use that, but went against it. Actually just using some corner extruded aluminum and drilled it into the board and attached it to the stand using T-nuts.
