Hi just wondering how many use these and what u think of them and what's the average lifespan

I have 9 of them over my tank. Some are used. I do have 1ea 350's that still works. They were around in 2012.

Thanks I am purchasing 2 360we around 18 months old. Hopefully they will last a while as long as I blow the dust out regularly

I’ve a bunch of 360WE .... not the most enduring light IME. They are susceptible to dust buildup and the only way, really, to clean them properly is a full disassembly. I’ve not done this as diligently as I should so have had a number fail. One failed while still under warranty, two others at about 3-4 years.

I ‘m not a big fan of buying used, particularly since most sellers tend to underestimate age and usage and most buyers overpay. I wouldn’t pay much more than half original retail for a 360 that is almost out of warranty. Since most sellers would view that as ‘lowballing’ I end up buying new LOL.

I’ve had more than my fair share of testy exchanges with sellers of stuff that I suggested was way overpriced. Grew rather tired of it, so another reason for me to buy new. Ironically, in some of those cases the seller did in fact get his high asking price .... so I guess the joke was on me .... or maybe on the person that overpaid LOL.

I love my lights. I used 2 over my 125g on the sides with T5 in the middle and one over my 40b frag tank. I also bought used and they are still going. Think I've owned them almost a year, not sure how old they were when I bought them though.
