Background:
so last night I was posting about starting a nano reef which lead me in a couple different directions. Eventually leading me here. I have decided to go with a marine land rimless tank 25 gallon. I am going to run a 45 gallon Hydor canister filer and 65 gallon Coralife Skimmer. I plan on setting up a sump in the future of this build. Keep in mind this is my first nano reef but not first tank by any means.

Now as far as lighting:
I was not to thrilled with purchasing the JBJ PRO for almost 800:confused: when I can spend that on a custom set up at my LFS (aka the tank described above) and run the kessil tuna blue with much better filtration.
Is one kessil enough for a 25 cube? I am going to be running the goose neck configuration. Is this the best possible light for a nano reef? o_O I am willing to spend the money but want to make sure its the right choice for this build this will be my first kessil purchase!

Side note: what do you guys think of this build so far am I missing something critical? let me know!

I have the same tank and running the 160. It is great for the size and lenty of power. I have lps, a few sps and softies. Running it at about 50% intensity. I would drill the tank for an overflow instead of the canister filter. Better than tearing it all down to drill later.
