Hey all,

So thanks to Ditto, the MAN! I'm going with Profilux 4 instead of Apex for my new and first mixed reef tank ever! Boom! So excited! :)

I will be connecting 3 Kessil A360's to the unit and am not entirely clear on what gear I will need to do so. I have gathered from other posts that I will not need the Kessil controller, which is nice, saves me $100.

But I can't figure out if I will need one LBF-AP, or one for each light, or if the lights will be able to connect directly to the main unit itself?

Thanks! (looking forward to this!)

Just one unit, grab the Apex cable, and 2 of the connection cables.
On the apex cable, cut off the RJ45 end and wire into the LBF-AP / Breakout box.
You'll control the first unit only, the other 2 will be piggybacked onto your first unit.

Will do. With this set up does the Profilux see the lights as three individual lights or 1 light?

There is no feedback from the lights, the breakout box is a one-way signal; OUT.

You will use both 0-10v channels, one for color, the other for intensity.

As the other 2 lights are piggy backed, the first light will pass the signal on to the other units, they will mimick the first.
