I have a Kessil a360xe on a IM Nuvo 15, currently sitting at the 7” mark on the mount. This is my first reef tank so not sure what it needs to be at. Overall goal is mostly softies and LPS corals. Got my first corals today, mushroom and a paly/zoa. Right now I have the light on the acclimation setting with starting intensity at 8% based on the Tuna Blue Preset. Any changes I should make? Any tips and pointers are greatly appreciated

So just reporting my experience, but I had a Kessil a360we (< I think that's what you have) on my IM Nuvo 15. It's a little "hot" for that tank, but can be dimmed, of course. Keep your light setting down and ramp up very slowly. Like heat, too much light is a fast killer, compared to too little light, which is rarely a "big" problem.

Good luck!

If any, what settings would you recommend? Color wise and intensity wise? Probably a subjective question to answer but any recommendations? Might there be any videos or threads on it? I understand it’s a pretty overkill light so will be keeping the intensity down for sure

I don't run the controller on that tank, but I plan on the Kessil controller for my next build, which is in progress. I just try to keep the intensity down to where things seem "happy" and certainly not "smoked". I do have an aging PAR meter, but I'd like to replace it with this, then we'd both "know":
