I am setting up an Innovative Marine 40L, with the intention to eventually upgrade to a 125-150 gallon tank.

I think the best lighting choice for it would likely be 2 Kessil a360s; however, since I know I’m upgrading the next two years or so, wondering if it would make more sense to get an a500, with the intention of using that as one of several on the 125-150?

I have a Kessil 160 on a smaller tank and absolutely love it. Used to have an Ecotech and my corals are much happier under the Kessil. However, open to that suggestion, too.

Thanks!

I would say, if the plan is to upgrade anyway, get what you're going to upgrade too. You spend less money in the long run :)
