So I am ready to make make the leap and let my P4 take control of automaticly adjusting dosing amounts based on the readings of my KHD. Who is doing this? Suggestions on initial setup/settings?

There is no one-size-fits-all recommendation for the best starting control amounts. You would first need to find a baseline of dosing to meet the demand of the coral. Once you found it, then you can have the KHD make fine-tuned adjustments. A good place to start for control options is here:

This gives a breakdown of what each control option does, including examples.

Thanks. I didn't see this video.

So I followed the instructions in the video and felt extremely confident that the KHD would do great.

I have not been disappointed. Since Sunday I enabled the settings outlined in the video.

Tonight I have seen my alk hold steady at 9.1 dkh. My nominal value is set to 9.5, but I am going to try and dial it in even more. To see my alk become this stable is very impressive.

Thanks GHL for everything! Screenshot_20191022-204713.png
