Has anyone had a Klein’s Butterfly with SPS corals for an extended period? I’m considering a Klein’s but my Saddleback Butterfly had a tendency to kill my SPS so I wanted to see if anyone had experience to share of Klein’s Butterfly with SPS. I’m ok with them killing LPS and Zoas.

Copperband butterflies in general are considered reef safe. I would think the C. Marginalis and H. Polylepis also fall into this catagory

Raccoons are good with sps too.

I had a Racoon in a system with Acros and Montis. I suspected that the SPS were being damaged by a butterfly so I removed the raccoon. No change with the SPS so I removed my Saddleback butterfly and immediately everything bounced back. Looking back, I’m pretty sure my Raccoon wasn’t causing much/any trouble but the Sadleback definitely was. Now I only have a marginalis that apparently doesn’t eat Aiptasia. The saddleback quickly wiped out my other system of Aiptasia but I won’t be trusting him around corals again.
