We've had at least one successful breeding before, and our mama is carrying bright green eggs again! These animals are absurdly shy, sorry about the picture quality.

Thanks! Our pair of snapping shrimp seem to really benefit our deep sand bed and the whole system. Its a 5 foot long tank with live rock end to end,and the shrimp have a beehive type complex with several floors. They sure up all gaps with carefully placed small shells. We also have a Yellow Spotted Watchman Goby that takes his job with them very seriously. He will eat small bits and then drag large pieces of food into their cave. And no one gets in that cave entrance.

"None shall pass!"

I SERIOUSLY doubt that will be possible, sadly. We didn't know they had any surviving babies from the first round until a week ago. He's a teenager now LOL.

They are, and for a shy as they are, we do see them almost every day- for about 10 whole seconds! For anyone considering getting a shrimp and goby combo, be warned, it can take a while before the bond forms.
