I am considering shipping a pair of Picasso clowns from TN to CA, and need some advice on proper shipping. Does anyone have experience with Kordon Breathable bags or have any packaging and shipping advice?

i would go to a local fish store and ask if you could get a cupple bags and multi-layer them, but then but the bag upside down each time you use a diffrent bag that way the fish doesnt get smashed in a corner of the bag while getting shipped, ill consider some heat packs that will last a day or two

40 hour heat packs, kordon bags if available, insulated cooler and you should be set. Might ask alpha corals for any tips? I know some places will put oxygen in bags. Maybe a few drops of prime to keep ammonia build up down. Also I believe my clowns came individually bagged. Definitely try to have the fish picked up from distribution hub so there not exposed to weather.

Here's my understanding, you don't want the bag to breathe. Fish produce toxic ammonia. But the pH drops from lack of fresh air, and this makes ammonia less toxic to fish. That's also a reason some people just temp acclimate fish and drop them in. Once you open the bag the clock is ticking.
