Today I went to the Korean market to get things to make a DIY frozen food. I mixed in two things I’ve not hear people do, but I’m curious what your thoughts are on the us.

Frozen welks: these were pretty huge. About the size of a big Mexican turbo. Five bucks for about a dozen of them.

Dried anchovies: these are the tiny ones that say they are for stir fry. Package says 100% anchovies.

I mixed these two with the typical mussels, shrimp, a package of frozen mixed seafood (no preservatives), and fish roe.

I’m mostly curious if anyone here has fed welks?

This works great if you use the whole animal... brains, guts and everything. Cleaned with just the meat/tail for humans is not as good for fish who cannot supplement their diets in other ways like we can.

Cuttlefish, whole octopus, various snails were all good.

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?
