KP Aquatics Starter Rock

I recently bought 20 lbs. of the KP Aquatics starter rock, and it was all I had hoped for. There were some urchins, red mithrax crabs, brittle stars, a bunch of different types of worms, a featherduster, and some other random things. There are a few things I haven't been able to identify yet, so any help here would be great!

These seemed to just randomly pop up out of nowhere.


At a glance I thought this was coralline, but it is growing off the rock in a way that made me second guess that.

Its always hard to tell but my guesses are
1. Tunicates
2. cyano (if slimy) possibly coralline if hard
3. sponge

I did some investigating, and it is indeed hard and not slimy. I think it might just be coralline that grew around a tube of some sort. Thanks for the response, @dwest!
