Good afternoon everyone!

I recently received my LaMotte Alk kit from BRS and I've tested four times, on two separate days. Both tests today gave me 120ppm on the syringe to get the correct color change.

120x 0.056 = 6.72 dKH

I normally use Salifert (after getting frustrated with the color change from RedSea and the inconsistencies with my Hanna).

My Salifert today has given me a dKH of 7.8 which has been consistent over the three weeks. (anywhere between 7.8 to 8.1)

Is this normal for the LaMotte to test lower? Not sure what I could be doing different but my other three test kits are consistent with being 7.8-8.0.

Thanks for any help or insight you can provide. Thanks!
