Hello. Wondering if anyone has had any luck ordering a aquarium frame directly from marineland via Local LFS or any other method ? I’ve read online it can be done but also that they stopped selling frames alone a few years back. Is there any hope ??

A lot of people helped out on my other thread about this topic, thank you again it’s much appreciated. It’s a 125 gallon dual overflow. I have contacted Over the Edge Aquarium frame wholesale and my tank is just a quarter inch too wide for anything they make, so I’m back to square one.

Seems my only option is getting one directly from the manufacturer or DIY one from wood / metal. Those who have done this before what do you recommend doing ?

72x18 ¼

If anyone can get me one I will happily supply a finders fee for the effort !!

Since I don’t like making assumptions: have you searched FB Marketplace?

Very briefly, do you mean looking for a frame by itself or a donor 125 tank for parts ?

Either, if the price is right. Not sure where you live but I see 125’s posted very regularly here.

I’m in rural Indiana Elkhart area, not the best for the hobby lol but yes I see about every tank listing that gets listed. Very rarely is it even empty and it’s usually all or nothing goes. How much do they usually sell for around you?

I tried sourcing a frame for a 120 marineland through my LfS. Unfortunately that was unsuccessful and the manufacturer wouldn’t sell direct. I wish you luck but I abandoned the tank and went with a new build.

I’m originally from Chicago and familiar with IN and where Elkhart is located. That’s a beautiful area. Especially in the fall.

The price range is huge on Marketplace as there are many variables and also people who are off their rockers!

Being in Elkhart, can you not find a local welder, for a reasonable price, to weld some aluminum?

Also, have you looked into extruded aluminum?
