What is the largest fish you have ever personally owned, for saltwater for me it was a sub-adult twin spot wrasse at about 10-12 inches (he was later rehomed to a larger tank), but for freshwater I had a 3.5 ft long African Lungfish in a pond out back. It's definitely a lot harder to keep large saltwater fish due to their extra space needs and running a saltwater tank is a lot harder in general then freshwater.

For me, it has been these two fish.
