Leather coral tissue loss

Back into the hobby after a break. I went to an old LFS looking for some small pieces of live rock and instead found this Fiji yellow leather. I couldn't turn it down. (Hey it's on a piece of live rock, right?)

Anyways I don't have much experience with softies but this certainly looks like tissue loss.

Fiji Yellow Sacrophyton should be getting blasted with moderate flow and intense lighting. That is a harder to find more expensive leather. The coral doesn't look too bad in the image. If the tank is still cycling the piece will struggle initially.
