I've got photos with polyps extended and without. It's from a reef tank I maintain at work that's about 16yrs old. No one knows what they are and I can't seem to find any similar coral for sale! Completely photosynthetic. Survives in high Nitrate and phosphate and in super low. In the former it has the retracted polyps and the fully extended ones in the latter.
Would love to know what it is! It is not a typical nepthea or Sinularia coral. If you think it is please show me a link or photo to one that matches the color shape!
